THE HUMAN BEHIND THE SCREEN
Explore my background, core expertise, and the principles that shape how I work.

Andrew Manuhutu
Process Strategist · Systematic Trader · Quantitative Analyst

I am an Industrial Engineer, now based in New Zealand, with a Master’s degree in Production and Systems Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig, one of Germany’s most prestigious and oldest universities of technology. My academic training is complemented by a minor in Business Accounting and Economics.
I bring deep experience from Mercedes-Benz AG, a DAX-listed global automotive leader, where I worked across IT project management, Lean and Six Sigma–driven process optimization, risk analysis, business process redesign & efficiency programs, and data-backed performance improvement initiatives. This blend of technical depth and operational clarity allows me to build systems that scale, reduce friction, and elevate performance across complex environments.
Beyond corporate operations, I am deeply engaged in financial markets and quantitative trading, with practical experience in currencies, indices, and commodities, as well as technical analysis, algorithmic strategy development, and data-driven market analysis.

Today, I work with independent traders who want to move beyond discretionary decision-making and develop robust, risk-controlled trading systems they can operate themselves. My focus is on clarity of process, resilience across market regimes, and long-term execution consistency.

Trading Performance
I actively trade my own capital, applying the same engineering discipline, quantitative analysis, and risk-controlled execution that I advocate professionally—putting capital at risk rather than theory alone.

However, I do not publish my portfolio publicly, because trading performance without full context is often misleading. Reported returns rarely capture the underlying risk, drawdowns, time horizon, or execution constraints that determine whether a system is truly sustainable.

For that reason, third-party verified risk metrics are available for professional review where appropriate, typically during the first level of service ("The System Diagnostics"). You gain a refined, data‑driven view of how my performance aligns with your operational objectives, along with full transparency into both wins and losses. This is a space for traders who appreciate structure, discipline, and sustainable progress.
Key Principles
Control the controllable
Protect your mental energy by focusing on what you can influence, not what’s outside your reach.

Solid System
A vision is only as strong as its foundation. Build systems that support consistency, clarity, and long‑term results.

Keep it real
Set the bar high, but stay practical and pragmatic. Balance ambitious goals with realistic expectations.

Focus on your own path
Your journey is yours alone. Don’t compare your chapter one to someone else’s chapter twenty — trust your process and build your legacy with intention.
